Spin-Off Quantas Analytics GmbH is a spin-off of IFA-Tulln founded in 2006. IFA (Department for Agrobiotechnology) is part of the University of Natural Resources and Applied Life Sciences. It has gained international reputation in various fields of sciences - one of them mycotoxin research. Mycotoxin determination was covered by the Center for Analytical Chemistry supervised by Prof. Rudolf Krska. Many international prizes were awarded to scientists of the Center for Analytical Chemistry during the past years. E.g.: Dr. Wolfgang Houska Preis 2005 Agrana Forschungspreis 2005 Dr. Brigitte Gedek Wissenschaftspreis 2006 Today, Quantas Analytics GmbH can go back to the scientist located at the Center for Analytical Chemistry and profits from the existing know how. Many of the methods developed at the Center for Analytical Chemistry are now part of the routine at Quantas Analytics.
